Tromboncino Squash are fun, for those both young and old at heart! As a summer squash, their skin is tender and flavor is mild, sweet and almost nutty. In this early light green state (8-12 inches), they can be eaten in salads or stuffed in ravioli. As Tromboncino Squash mature, their skin turns a tan color and length can exceed 3 feet!! At this later state, they are best eaten as you would any winter squash.
