When to Plant: direct seed outdoors every 3 weeks following last frost until mid Summer OR start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost date
How to Plant:
Direct sow: sow seeds ⅛” deep, covering only lightly as seeds need light to germinate. Seeds should germinate in 10-21 days. Thinning isn’t necessary as more flowers will bloom when plants are crowded.
Transplant: sow seeds indoors in containers or trays ⅛” deep, covering only lightly as seeds need light to germinate. Seeds should germinate in 10-21 days. Transplant young plants into larger containers. Harden off young plants before planting out after the last frost. Space plants closely.
When to Harvest: Harvest in Summer, just before flowers open
