"Oh my goodness, that is beautiful!" is perhaps not something that you hear all that often when it comes to broccoli. Well, even outside the vegetable nerd world, this Purple Peacock broccoli is considered a stunner!

Purple Peacock is an open pollinated cross between broccoli and kale varieties, bred by Frank Morton. Their frilly, purple and green leaves are very kale-esque, while their dark purple broccoli florets are smaller than usual. Also, their flowers are not as tightly packed as broccoli flowers generally are. Amazing raw, but also nice steamed!
