Butterfly Bush Seeds
(Buddleja davidii) Perennial. Zones 5-10
Butterfly Bush lives up to its name, growing into a large shrub that attracts Swallowtails, Monarchs and a variety of other butterflies and hummingbirds too! Their cascading violet flowers stay in bloom from mid-summer until fall. Butterfly Bushes can self seed, so pruning is encouraged to keep them under control. Deadhead spent blooms throughout the summer to encourage a continuous show of happy pollinators.
