Basil Seeds - Tulsi, Rama
(Ocimum tenuiflorum) Annual. 100-120 days to maturity.
Rama Tulsi is the most common variety of Holy Basil grown in India. Its aromatic leaves are mostly green with purple coloured stems. It is also the variety most closely related to Krishna Tulsi (they both share the latin name Ocimum tenuiflorum). Plants can grow up to 4 feet tall, with small reddish blooms. As with other Tulsi varieties, this plant holds many medicinal and spiritual uses. Pollinators will also love their aromatic leaves!
